Lenny Kravitz and John Travolta lead the Oscars ‘In Memoriam’ tribute


The Academy Awards annual “In Memoriam” tribute featured Lenny Kravitz performing a strong rendition of his tune “Calling all Angels.”
Kravitz emotionally belted out his tribute whereas the faces of legends like Burt Bacharach, Angela Lansbury, Jean-Luc Godard, James Caan, and Irene Cara have been illuminated on the display screen above the Dolby stage. The section was launched by John Travolta, who choked up whereas honoring his Grease co-star and longtime buddy Olivia Newton-John, who died in August.
Whereas Travolta’s introduction and Kravitz’s efficiency have been extremely touching, the “In Memoriam” tribute surprisingly omitted Charlbi Dean from this 12 months’s honorees, regardless of her starring in Greatest Image nominee Triangle of Unhappiness.
